Flat Panel TV
A term that is used to describe television screens which are designed to hang on a wall. Flat panel displays include a growing number of technologies (e.g. LCD and Plasma) enabling video displays that are much thinner and lighter than traditional television and video displays that use cathode ray tubes. They are typically less than 10 cm (4 inches) thick.
The term is also sometimes used interchangeably with "flatscreen".
