Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
A type of display made up of any number of colour pixels arrayed in front of a light source or reflector. It can be found in applications such as flat-panel TV displays and compact projectors.
LCD technology uses liquid crystal movement to improve brightness, colour and contrast and uses very small amounts of electric power. It requires very little depth, thus allowing for a slim design that can be wall mounted if desired.
