Viewing Angle
The maximum side angle at which the viewer can watch a screen clearly from the side without the picture beginning to fade.
Buyers should look for a viewing angle of at least 170 degrees. LCD TVs have a viewing angle of up to 176°, whilst plasma screens tend to have a slightly larger angle of 178°. In comparison, viewing angles are not an issue with front projectors as the light source is coming from in front of the screen, and not from behind.
